Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of fundraising with flowers?
Flowers are presold and delivered the day they arrive, making long-term storage and handling unnecessary.

How will the flowers be packaged?
Roses come in twelve stem bunches and carnations in twenty five stem bunches. Each bunch comes with a free packet of flower preservative. Care instructions are provided to insure maximum performance.

How fresh are the flowers?
Our roses and carnations will be picked fresh at the farm and packaged just before shipment to you. Once a shipping date is agreed upon, the harvesting will be planned around that date.

Why are the roses so inexpensive?
The flowers we provide are the same top-quality flowers that you would expect to find in any fine, full-service florist. Since we handle a large volume of product, we are able to provide our customers with an affordable price.

What about left over product from our fundraising sale?
Since your order is based upon the number of bunches that your customers have requested, all your product is presold, and the likelihood of being "stuck" with unsold flowers is minimal.

Can we arrange to have roses delivered for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Secretary’s Week?
Prices during these holidays fluctuate tremendously and we are unable to provide flowers at these times for our regular prices. Rose prices can increase by three to four times their normal value and the supply can be unpredictable. For these reasons we encourage you to plan your sales to avoid these special occasions. People will primarily buy the flowers to support your organization rather than be driven by a holiday.

How long will the flowers keep?
Since flowers are perishable products, we rush our flowers from the farm to you. For maximum performance, it is important that you deliver them as soon as possible to the end user, and encourage your customers to place the flowers in water according to the care instructions provided. Roses will generally last 5-7 days, depending upon the variety, and carnations approximately 10-14 days.

How are the flowers shipped and what fees are involved?
Our flowers are priced to include shipment to your nearest major airport. The only additional fee to our price are COD costs, should you choose to pay upon delivery rather than pay in advance.

When are payments due ?
We require a 20% deposit at the time your order is placed, which must be two weeks before your delivery date. The flowers are then delivered COD for the remaining balance. Payments from your customers should be collected when their orders are placed, thus eliminating any problems with cash flow.
